There is just something special about Easter for us at our childcare center in Irvine, California. Whether it is all the beautiful pastel colors, family time, or the fun traditions associated with the holiday, there is no doubt that Easter is something many look forward to every year.

While you may already plan on coloring eggs and having an egg hunt, our daycare in Irvine encourages you to make this year extra memorable. Why not try new activities, for starters?

Here are some fun activities our 24-hour childcare suggests for your kids:

  • Read Easter and Spring-Related Children’s BooksGet your kids in the spirit of Easter by reading to them about spring, bunnies, and Easter. With so many books about these topics, our weekend daycare in Irvine is sure you can keep them entertained for hours.
  • Make Chocolate FondueThis is one way to get your children to share their Easter sweets with you. With their permission, melt their huge chocolate bunny to turn it into a fondue. Your kids can dip their marshmallow chicks in it or, as a healthier alternative, you can use fruits.
  • Decorate an Easter Egg TreeWho says trees can only be decorated during Christmas? Your kids will have just as much fun decorating a tree with plastic Easter eggs and other kinds of spring decorations, such as tissue paper flowers.
  • Jelly Bean Guessing GameIf you want to keep your kids indoors, here is a simple game you can try. Just fill a jar with jelly beans and ask every family member to guess how many jelly beans are there. The one who makes the closest guess wins and gets to keep all the candy!

Little Leaderz Day Care, Inc. hopes you and your children have a wonderful Easter! For more information about our preschool program, please contact us.
